You find the most typical thing about the place in this restaurant! Of my favorite foods, the cottage cheese flautas, their enchiladas, their flank steak, tatemado, tongue in green sauce, etc., their typical fresh waters such as chaya with cucumber, pomegranate, soursop, to mention some of their seasonal fruit waters.
Great lunch stop on the road back to Guadalaraja. Set on the plaza, El Colonial is a large, traditional Mexican restaurant, ozzing with local charm. The food and prices are frankly excellent, and the service is prompt and professional, if a little sullen.\ Recommended...
